CB 100 : 4th touch

After a week full of activities and work, I took myself to greet the CB.
Before I parked my vehicle, I can already see the glint of light reflected from that motorcycle body. Without hesitation, I walked and admired it.

It's a lot of changes were made and attached to the original context of this CB100.

After unwind with a sufficient rest at home, in the daytime I was curious about the process of reincarnation of the CB100.
I visited the workshop and found that:

1. Machine that was ready to flame though still need a little polishing.
2. Cutted front and rear fenders and will in the paint in the near future.
3. Framework of chassis that have been in the paint as a whole.
4. Front and rear tires which are mounted neatly (front tire was fitted with a disc!!).
5. Panels on the handlebars of a complete wheel, plus an elegant and comfortable grip handle (but unfortunately the electric starter button will not work at all because the CB was still no dynamo starter).
6. Retro-minimalist Headlights.

Last Sunday, I visited the workshop where CB100 bike is being treated.
And in the process to become a classic European motorcycles, is still stuck in the machine and legs.
I do not take pictures of any parts that have been obtained, but at least the details are expected to change the performance and appearance of this bike are:

Well, enough progress that's all for now. CB100 is expected to be completed by this end of January, so I can get her to go to the office. Hehehe...

Last Friday, I find the workshop that is at least aware of the simple machines and also Honda CB100 parts.

Lucky,Lucky, the shop I was looking for is just 3 miles from my house. Yeah, at least I do not have to get out of town to find the workshop that was absolutely perfect, to avoid regular visits to supervise the repair work on my CB100.

Soon after, the body with a capacity of 99cc engine that can finally be opened. And here's the situation ...

Because I do not know much about engines, it seems I have to pretend a little self-righteous when negotiating the replacement of spare parts, in order to get the best quality and good price too.

CB 100 : Please help me.... !

Brothers and sisters ...
Yesterday, I got a motorcycle that is not used anymore by my uncle since 3 years ago. The bike was the Honda CB 100.
Rather than continue to be a playground for the my uncle’s ducks, I better fix it back so that qualifies as a real motorcycle.
Although just to go to the minimarket, or go to the office and college. At first I saw when walk this bike to my house is only a 100 cc motorcycle with rust all over his body and a flat tire, but what really happened to this bike after I got home and washed it is ...
In addition to the rust that resides in every corner, an oil crust, the pathetic chain, dirty carburetor, no longer feasible shockbreaker, a broken gear lever, and foot brake lever that has been separated from its holder, even a gas grip that can not be moved again.
I myself can not bear not to laugh for several minutes when I found the lizard nests located in two places, in the engine cylinder and also in the swing arm that has been porous.
My guess is, this engine is not 70% able to work longer, except when replacing it with spare parts that are still in accordance with the original characteristics of this bike.
I guess I'll just keep the original chassis and the original engine houses of this bike. But for others, should be replaced completely. So, I really need advice for reconditioning this bike again, especially for relatives who know a lot about Honda CB Series, or only make recommendations for the best & cheap shop in Depok and surrounding areas. Kemarin, saya mendapatkan sebuah sepeda motor yang sudah tidak dipakai lagi oleh paman saya semenjak 3 tahun yang lalu. Sepeda motor itu adalah Honda CB 100.
Daripada terus-menerus menjadi tempat mainan bagi bebek-bebek kepunyaan paman saya, lebih baik saya memperbaikinya kembali sehingga layak disebut sebagai sepeda motor. Walau hanya untuk pergi ke minimarket, maupun pergi ke kantor dan kuliah. Awalnya yang kulihat saat membawa motor ini berjalan kaki menuju rumahku hanyalah sebuah motor 100 cc dengan karat di sekujur tubuhnya dan ban yang kempes, namun yang sebenarnya terjadi pada motor ini setelah sampai di rumah dan kucuci adalah...
Selain karat yang bersemayam di setiap sudutnya, kerak-kerak oli, rantai yang mengenaskan, karburator yang kotor, shockbreaker yang sudah tidak layak lagi, tuas persneling yang patah, tuas rem kaki yang telah lepas dari dudukannya, bahkan grip gas yang sudah tidak bisa digerakkan lagi.
Saya sendiri tak tahan menahan tawa selama beberapa menit saat menemukan sarang cicak yang berada pada dua tempat, dalam silinder mesin dan juga dalam swing arm yang telah keropos.
Menurut dugaanku, mesin motor ini 70% sudah tidak dapat bekerja lagi, kecuali bila mengganti isinya dengan suku cadang yang masih sesuai dengan karakteristik asli sepeda motor ini.
Kurasa saya akan hanya mempertahankan sasis asli dan rumah mesin asli dari sepeda motor ini. Tapi untuk yang lainnya, harus diganti total. Dengan begitu saya sangat membutuhkan saran untuk merekondisi kembali sepeda motor ini, khususnya bagi saudara-saudara yang mengenal cb 100, atau hanya memberi rekomendasi bengkel terbaik namun murah untuk di daerah Depok dan sekitarnya. The results (for the umpteenth time) is the BMW Motorrad Concept 6. A motorcycle that has amounted to 6-cylinder engine in line.

Walking around the gramedia Depok bookstore, accidentally glance at the book entitled "50 robots to draw and paint". Desire and curiosity in the field of 2D art hit me.

Tenmyouya Hisashi, Pioneer of Neo-Nihonga

When thinking of Japan, most of us agree that Japan attached to the culture of hard work. Including Concept’s Creative team. Then the question arises: what kind of design illustration that reflect Japanese hard work culture, because the creative team intended to make their own Concept’s design concept. But fate would seem different. Accidentally, Concept team "met" with one of the contemporary Japanese artist, Hisashi Tenmyouya. One of his work entitled "Archery", made in 2008, enough to steal the show. In addition to the striking color, personal character in the painting is just click with the concept sought by Concept.

Short story, Concept contacted to ask permission from Tenmyouya to display this work as a Concept cover material. Without hesitation, Tenmyouya agree. Not too long after Concept obtained high resolution material from this ex-graphic designer, plus a brief description of the work which he said is the most special work for him.

Tenmyouya explain this one work to adapt the early days of a man who was about to release an arrow at the enemy. The human spirit and human children mind who have been tireless that radiated through aura of the characters represented by a dragon. This ex Graphic designer painter added that his creation expression of that characters look like a vertical sculpture of a holy priest named Kuya. The statue was reciting a series of marmur from his mouth. According Tenmyouya, describes the invisible subject like the word and the aura is a very Japanese elements.

In the process, he spent up to 20 days to complete this work with 13 hours of work per day. As a result, his hands were stiff with pain that needs to be compressed. Though he never experienced anything like this before. So, certainly not an overstatement if Concept choose to fill the Concept’s cover archive, because this work was produced from the hard work of a Japanese artist. Ganbatte!!!
